A production-grade multi-vendor marketplace platform serving thousands of active buyers and sellers. Built on Sharetribe Flex as the marketplace engine with a fully custom React and Next.js frontend — giving complete control over UX while leveraging Sharetribe's proven transaction logic, listing management, and search infrastructure. Stripe Connect handles vendor onboarding, split payments, and automatic payouts.
The Challenge
The client needed a scalable marketplace that could support hundreds of vendors with complex pricing rules, real-time availability calendars, multi-currency payments, and region-specific tax handling — all within a tight launch timeline.
The Solution
Chose Sharetribe Flex for its headless marketplace APIs, built a fully decoupled React/Next.js frontend with SSR for SEO-critical listing pages. Integrated Stripe Connect for marketplace payments, Socket.io for real-time messaging, and a custom admin dashboard for vendor management and analytics.
Outcome & Results
Launched on schedule serving 10,000+ registered users. Average listing page loads in under 1.2s. Vendor payout accuracy at 100% with zero payment disputes in the first 6 months of operation.
